The Vampire Legends of New Orleans
89New Orleans is an eerie place. It's so Gothic in one sense, so dangerous in another. Altogether, it's highly mysterious. I have gone on a vampire tour in the French Quarter, so I felt it mandatory that I detail to you what was given to my ears. Why? Being frightened is better when you can share the experience, to release the fanciful fright of the mind, and so purge the imagination of its terror by terrorizing the imagination of others.
A certain mysterious man walked the streets of New Orleans a few decades ago. But for the subject matter at hand, our story stretches further back to France in the illustrious 1700's for there was also a certain, mysterious man who charmed the courts of Europe. His name was the Comte Saint Germaine. -A very strange, extraordinary, enigmatical character. He was a master of the piano and the violin. He could converse in 6 different languages. His skills as a conversationalist were unrivaled. (a skill that is nowadays a lost art.) His wealth unfathomable; He carried gems around in his clothing. And no one knew how he came into such wealth. No one knew anything about his family, where he came from and who he was. One of his greatest passions was alchemy. And he was believed to have an extraordinary talent for not aging. Maybe it was his vast knowledge of cosmetics and herbs. The philosopher Voltaire called him, "the man who knows everything and who never dies." No one really knows his age. He looked about 40 and continued to do so for over half a century. As charming and engaging as he was, and how he graced the dinner table of many dukes and kings even, no one had ever saw him eat anything. Only sip his wine, exquisitely, and ramble on about everything from history to chemistry. To this day, this mysterious figure has his own occult following from theosophists to complete way-out-there mystics. He was purported to die in the year 1784, though no one ever really saw his death. And some claim to have seen him many years after this date. But nevertheless, he disappeared from court life (I would too if I knew that the French Revolution was coming; which some people claim he did have knowledge of).
Fast forward to the 1920's in the jazz-raving city called New Orleans and there appears a man by the name of Jacques Saint Germaine. And in almost every caliber of description this same character matches that of the Comte above. Around 40 years of age, with heavy, heavy money bags, and the most fascinating of dinner guests. And still a complete mystery as to who he was and where he came from. He would throw lavish parties and invite all the proper and elite. Everyone would sit there divulged in the conversation and the food, and curiously enough, this Jacques would never eat a morsel, only sip his wine.
But one night he had a lady stay a bit late and out on his balcony this Saint Germaine grabbed her and tried to bite her neck. She escaped by falling from the balcony and then ran and reported the incident to the police. When the police actually decided to do something about it, Jacques Saint Germaine had entirely vanished. They searched his apartment and they found certain tablecloths and each of them laid out with large splotches of blood on them. They searched the kitchen. No sign of food or that food had ever been there. All they found where bottles of wine. And after pouring themselves a glass, drinking it, and then spitting it out, the authorities, vouched that this was not only wine in these bottles, but wine mixed with human blood.
New Orleans leads our nation's murder rate. Not only that, but it has always been a notorious place for missing persons. -That is, people just disappearing and no one really knowing what has happened to them. It has been the influx of all the diverse culture that makes New Orleans what it is, that has enabled, perhaps some of the unlucky to be overlooked between the intermingling of the cultures. The blood of the French, the Spanish, the Indian, the African, the Creole, the English, all mixed together here where the mosquito is not so picky. -Nor perhaps, other creatures.
John and Wayne Carter were brothers. He seemed to be normal in every aspect. Had normal labor jobs down by the river and lived on a street in the French Quarter. It was the 1930's and times were hard. So a man worked all he could and rested when he could. One day, a girl was reported to have escaped from the Carter brothers' apartment, and ran to the authorities. Her wrists were cut. Not enough to cause immediate death, but more so, to drain slowly of that red source of life, over the course of several days. The policemen ran to this 3rd story apartment and found 4 others tied to chairs with their wrists sliced in the same fashion also. Some had been there for many days. The story was that both of these brothers had abducted each of them and would drink their blood at the end of every day when they came home from work. They also found about 14 other dead bodies. The cops waited that night for the return of the brothers and when they did, it took 7 to 8 of them to hold down these two averaged size men who had been doing manual labor all day. A few years later when they were finally executed, the bodies were placed in a New Orleans vault. Cemeteries in New Orleans are fanciful in their own making. Not only are they more ornate than the rest of our nation's, but they recycle them using the same vault over and over again. The remains sift down into the back, bottom of the vault, when it is all rubble, and the new body is slid inside. After many years, they were placing some other Carter in this grave and what they found in the vault was nothing. No John or Wayne. They were gone. To this day, many sightings have occurred in the French Quarter that matches the descriptions of these two brothers almost exactly. Years later, an owner of their apartment, saw two figures that resembled them outside on their balcony one night whispering to each other. Both figures jumped off the top of the 3rd story balcony and took off running.
The rumor is that if a vampire drinks of your blood 7 nights in a row, then and only then can you become a vampire. Some of those kidnapped in the Carter brothers' apartment had been there over 7 days. One warped fellow, named Felipe went on to become one of the nation's biggest serial killer. And of course, he would do more than just kill them; he was believed to drink all 32 of his victims' blood.
During the early colonization days of New Orleans, France was having a hard time getting women to go over there. (One of the necessities for building any colony). This was mostly due to the fact that the men originally sent to New Orleans were all sorts of thieves and murderers, and culprits of every type and cast. (Not to mention all the snakes, alligators, mosquitoes, and humidity). Eventually some women were sent, (some sources say they were almost nuns, some say they were prostitutes) but nevertheless few of them made it. Many of them stayed in Mobile, Alabama when their voyaging ship ported there and they were told what type of riff-raff they were almost tricked into marrying. However, these girls had the most interesting of portmanteaus. They were shaped like little coffins. So, to the New Orleans men's dismay all that arrived in New Orleans were 300 of these coffin-like suitcases. Some stories say they are empty, some say they contained the undead. To this day they are reported being kept in the attic in a convent in the French Quarter where the windows to this attic are nailed shut because they have a strange way of just opening by themselves. Years and years later, in 1978, two amateur reporters demanded to the priest to let them in and see these coffins. The priest, of course, denied their entrance. So one night these two men attempted a stake out on the convent premises. They climbed over a wall with their entire recording equipment and set up their workstation. The next morning, on that very street was found strewn about, the reporters' equipment. And there on the front porch of the convent's door steps were found the almost decapitated bodies of these two men. 80% of their blood was gone. This is scientifically impossible for any normal murderer to accomplish. It baffles investigators to this day and this crime is still completely unsolved.
Such are the stories that were told to me a few nights ago, and the reason it was hard for me to get to sleep. We were also shown certain settings of the movie "Interview with a Vampire" which was set in New Orleans. An intriguing movie based on a New Orleans author Anne Rice.

It is BS. There is no such thing as a vampire; only people who think they are vampires or sickos who think they gain something or somehow connect with their victims by drinking their blood. Crazy gothic types who study mythical tales and try to recreate or live them.
The girls were prostitutes brought over to help build the population which was 5 men to every 1 woman. They were taught manners and etiquette by the Nuns during a 9 month voyage to New Orleans by boat. The coffin-shaped boxes were called a trousseau, which contained their dowry. They were nicknamed the coffin girls.
i went to this tour on July 5th. Johnathon was also my tour guide. he said that they were two girls also but that they were doing a case on this mysterious coffin girl thing. they put up a camera to video tape 5 outta twelve shutters that had been nailed down with a hundred steel bolts. well they were reported missing and he said at 4:10 that morning they found their bodies on the church steps naked. they wernt decapitated, they had a small deep cut in between both their shoulder blades. he also said that he cop wrote in his report that it looked like these girls didnt stop them. that it looked like they were willing to let whatever happened to them. then he said about the dwayne brothers that there was only 3 alive people and they lived in the second story apartment...not third...i dont know what to believe, but i think that hearing jonathon talk about that and seeing all the sites and everything was pretty cool. i just don't know why your stories and his are so different????
Interesting dramatic stories about the New Orleans spooky side, I doubt they are true, but possible.
I do not oppose anything supernormal but warn about putting stock into such things. Much of the supernormal is temporary and recoverable if caught in time - It's the recovery to nature's realism and the wisdom that is dicovered after dead sooner or later after arriving in the spirit side of life.
Now, who trusts vampire roosts these days, and where?
I went on this tour in April of 2008 and Jonathan was also my tour guild the only thing i can say for sure the the Jacques St. Germaine one is the most likely one to be true, not the vampire part but that he existed and lived in new orleans for a short time.
i have gone on this tour some months ago and i loved it i loved hearing about all the history and it was awsome to see the houses that were from the interview with a vampire movie because that is one of my favorite movies

I'm a real witch. And I have seen a werewolf about a thousand times. So that is why you should believe all the stuff it says up there. And that you can be a witch. Also that vampires and witches and morlocks are all real.

I loved reading all of this, it was quite interesting, really. I on the other hand, do believe in vampires, though I also think that over the centuries people have exsagerated the existance of vampires. There are beings yet unknown, really. I believe in ghosts for the fact that I have seen them and even been hurt by them, as well as witches. For a 14 year old girl, I have always been quite different than any other person. I had a growing hatred for people at a very young age and have always been the type to ignore the modern things of life. At a very young age I had a growing love for the taste of blood and the things of nature, including animals, life and death. I found bliss in things unknown to me and I began to search them, to my surprise they would talk to me in the solitude of my own mind. I can now hear a little girl who has been with me since I was little. I know that vampires are out there, just not as many people seem to describe them.
Well then.
It seems one little small detail you seem to be forgetting, there are many things you cannot simply research online and find out about.
You may like to believe such, but THAT is the BS. There are many 'incidents', that have occured over the years that you'll find nothing on even online.
Learn with your heart and head, not off of facts presented to you by some 'important website', or 'important person'.
They do exist.

My son and I took this tour about a year ago, and our guide was Jonathon. I found this tour to be fascinating, and was the highlight of our time in NOLA. My son absolutely loved this, as did I. I will be returning to NOLA in a few days, and plan on doing it again.
I just really wonder what the position of the church is. I mean the church that reportedly has the coffins nailed in the attic. If this is untrue, why does the church just not call a press conference, and deny the existence of any coffins being stored in their attic?

I can believe these stories I have my reasons my roots run deep here, oh yeah Vampyre can walk in the daylight, but don't worry if your blood has been drained you probably won't really notice it's never enough to harm and it's as painless as a passion mark. So, don't be frightened.
There must be those that consume blood because the bible even warns of such at in the book of Leviticus 17:10-16. But even so as mentioned, Satan has blinded the minds of the unbelievers. I do believe in demons and NOLA has more than its fair share. I took the tour and always remember truth is always more fascinating than stories.
okayy, so i live in new orleans louisiana. ive lived in the french quarter, & everyone thinks its the scariest thing. well the things that go on here..they have REAL vampires that will drain blood from WILLING friends with a syrnge & it will be pumped into a glass vile, then, if by choice, mixed with red wine. im only 15, & ive witnessed this. its not all you percieve it to be
I just returned home from New Orleans and absolutely loved it! The truly only disappointing aspect was the Vampire Tour. I'm fairly certain our tour guide was Jonathan (long hair, red streak and vampire fangs). Honest to g-d, he was so BORING. His stories were incohesive and every time he told a story he would stop to complain about the horse and buggies walking by or people with music blarring in their cars. Half way through the tour, my friend begged me to bail out and go for a bite to eat. Unfortunately, I stayed the entire time hoping it would get better which never happened. In speaking with many locals, they say the Vampire Tour is a fairly recent one and is a bunch of BS. I am an advant fan of Anne Rice's novels and expected the tour to be someone reflective of the eeriness depicted in her books. Much to my dismay, it was a 2 hour tour that bored the hell out of me! I highly suggest the cemetary tour and the garden district tour. You will hear more factual stories of NO's history and the characters, ghosts from the past.
I've read a bunch of books about vampires and watched alot of movies, and still everything makes it to seem so real i just wish i could realy know the truth... im very passonate a bout the subject..!
I am one of those people who believes, but none of it scares me. I am a history fanatic and I simply just find all of this interesting. A lot of you have very good points: it all could be BS, but how will you ever know?? Putting faith in the...abnormal...can get you into trouble but so can not believing.
Make no mistake, Vampires and Supernatural beings are REAL. I witnessed something that was soooooo unnatural twice and I have two witnesses to one of them as well. Im not going crazy like I originally thought. We are NOT alone and probably NOT at the top of the food chain like we like to beleive. One other thing......are bigfoots being mistaken for werewolves? I beleive this may be something worth a discussion or two, as I do beleive that this is something that is happening. Beleiveing is seeing and I saw, now I beleive.
nola just became 1000 times scarier! thanks to the evil spirited katrina winds from the african coasts. the ghettos are extremely haunted as well as the french quarter... the city was built by evil and evil thrives there in so many ways. its the arousing aura that can be felt through the thick humid nights... quite a place to visit if you've never been...yet the appealing allure will surely gain another visit from an idle mind. the hours after 1 00 am are the most intrigueing among thousands of drunk party goers, beware, somethings seen may seem illusionistic, most are too entranced to care to notice the evil that lurks...very fascinating, aka city of the dead.
I just recently came back from New Orleans. I did take this tour and Adam was our tour guide! He was awesome. He never told you to beleive he only gave you facts of history. It's up to you to beleive or not to! I would recommend this tour!
I did a vampire tour back in Sept. and Adam was my tour guide also. It was a great history lesson with a lot of extras. It made me want to know more. I can't wait to go back.
If you've only visited the Quarter you may or may not understand. There are very few places with so many places to hide, appear, and disappear as you please. The French Quarter is very dark and mysterious. If you want to keep it that way, then read the "stories" and move along. However, be careful what you look for and how deep you are willing to look. Once you have seen the light there is no going back to being an innocent passerby.

Ole' John was my guide and his slips of the tongue insinuating he was possibly a very old vampire himself really ruined the tour. He started off asking us what we knew of vampires, said all of that was lies, yet never told us what they really were. His girlfriend came up twice during the tour and argued with him and interrupted the group. His stories varied from what was written here... the Carter's had 5 in the room barely alive and jumped from the 2nd story... 2 female interns for some ghost hunting show (1980's/1990's) set up the cameras outside the walls and were found with their blood drained at the doors with no marks on their bodies... Boy Scout troop was in the attic in the 70's and saw what looked like a "lived-in" attic...
For $20 a head it is a nice walking tour and the stories are fun to hear, but I felt like John was selling me a used car.

i went on this tour about two years ago with my best friend. Jonathan was our tour guide. we have pictures with him. any ways, the dwayne brothers were on the second floor and the bodies of the girls were at the cathedral with slices on their backs three inches from the spine. also, the windows dont just open whenever, its very very rare that they open. jonathan told us it happened about five or so years ago from this year. and im not sure whats up with jonathan, but hes been doing this tour thing for quite a while, as i see. i wonder if he has a day job. it also makes me wonder if he himself is a vampire.

In the stories I heard in New Orleans, he was called Jacques de Saint Germain; he claimed to be Comte's descendant. He is lovingly known as "Jack" by people who claim to know him.

y wife and I have been on this tour 3 times. Jonathan has been our guide everytime. He has told the same stories,the same way everytime. Jonathan prides himself in his knowledge of the Quarter. He is constantly found in the library or talking to people to advance his knowledge of the Quarter and be able to bring us the facts as he knows them. Jonathan has become a friend of ours and I am sorry some of you were bored or disbelievers.Don't take the tour again, but get your own facts straight before you talk about someone else.Jonathan has never claimed to be a Vampire, just a lover of the lore.He tells you to make up your own mind based on facts. And yes, he does have a day job.

The stories differ from guide to guide. I actually know a guide that works for this company, and he freely admits that the stories are made up. They are either completely fictional, or they've taken a little bit of true history and embellished it to the point where you might as well say it's complete b.s. If anyone disagrees, I highly encourage you to try to find any evidence, any evidence at all, that backs up these stories. Re: old newspaper reports, etc. I can guarantee you will not be able to find anything, other than internet articles written by the co-owner of the tour group, Kalila Smith. Consider this: If multiple dead bodies were found, as well as abductees tied to chairs and drained of blood in the Carter brother's apartment, wouldn't there be a written record in either court documents or old area newspapers of the account? There aren't any records. Imagine that. The tour guides are fun. I know Jonathan as well as Rene and Brent. Nice enough guys. But they are PAID workers. The more creepy and scary they can make the stories, the more people will pay to take the tour. It's simply a matter of money, sadly. Take all "legends" with a grain of salt, and do the research yourself, you'll be all the more better for it.
i live close to LA and even stayed close to new orleans one weekend but never een there.i've always found vampires stories interesting whether their real or fake.i don't much care but it's always fun to see things that legends are based on.and plan to take tghis tour when i get the time to go.thanks
There had to be vampires at some point in history, because almost every ancient culture has something that describes a vampire. Lets face it, there are a lot of creepy people in this world, anyone could be a vampire.

If you read vampire legends, myths, etc from various eras in history you'll see drastically different representations of vampires, each molded to fit the era in which it is told. Why? Because they are superstitious explanations told by people who lacked the knowledge to properly explain things they witnessed.
There are people today who drink blood, sure. They believe it grants them some form of "power", yes. But their beliefs are overly dramatic to the point of delusion.Drinking blood does not prove you are an immortal being of supernatural origin.
Now, I'm not saying supernatural beings don't exist. Simply that IF they do exist, none of you have met them. If they wanted random people to know of them, they'd just prove their existence to the world, which they obviously haven't.
I wouldn't scorn what you do not know.
Okay so i kinda believe in vampires. But i have my doubts,i mean come on!This can be total bs.So i want to tell a story of my own.It happened in this one moment i actually believed you know?Like,when you first go i church and you believe with all your heart,believe in god?thats how i felt that one moment.It was at night when i was up reading a book called Immortal Bite.It was very intrueging.So when i got to the the vamp story of New Orleans i kinda just drifted off in a place,you know? Like when your being levitated by Chris Angel.And this beautiful person came up to me.At first I thougt it was a dream cause what other explaination is there?So after she came up to me she said,i quote,"Many people have doubted us but you,you are one of the very few believers.we all thank you."then she left to a blood red hole.I said ,"wait!" But a blinding light flashed and i was in my room again.i never told anyone about my expirence because they wouldnt understand.I spea to the lady every night and i learned so much about her and THEM ,her name is alexandra andreax.born on 1587 as a peasant.her mother was abusive and father a drunk.finally she ran away ran away from life as she calls it.she was 19 at the time like me .in the night she found a beautiful man . she smiled and said , "hello"and he said "so sorry " and bent down to , to what she thought was to kiss her but instead he bit her EVERWHERE.she cried out "STOP" but he didnt and she went through hell when he was biting her.at last she woke up in a white room fully healed from the bites.the man was there with her inbed apparently he had raped her.but she asked herself afterward why arent i sore?but she didnt care he told her what he was a vampire.he took her on her first unting trip.but after a decade together she killed him out of rage.alexandra is my best friend she understands me.its like i love her world better than mine.to tell you the truth i dont care if you doubt me,i know in my heart its true.

I took this tour nine years ago and it was fun, so we decided to take it again it sucked the tour guide was very annoyed with people in the streets acted as he owned the street. He was very full of himself played with his hair and fingernails a lot its amazing on how one can be so smart and full of themselves. I wish that they would get back to the fun tour.

I went the tour, two weeks ago. Adam was the tour guide, and I found him extremely boring. He seemed to resent the word vampire, and at several points during the tour I grew extremely bored. I am going on the tour again though. I also believe that vampires are real.

My sister wants to go to NOLA for her 21st birthday. I dont think its safe for my kind. I dont really feel like being a walking target. I went on this tour recently, yet I can't say i believe or not. I need solid proof if only a small slice of it, but it must be there. I also cannot say I don't believe because I don't have any reason not to. I'll keep my eyes open and my logic sharp.

I have been arround New Orleans all my life. Being from Louisiana I can tell you it is an awesome place and it isnt just the city. I can tell you that there are things you cant explain. in the mid 90s i was talking to a man i knew about ghosts and what he called cursed land and i expressed my disbelief in all this paranormal stuff . He smiled and said we would meet and go fishing the next day. I showed up .loaded the boat and we left. 30 minutes later he said to me he wanted to show me something but i had to keep the place secret because his family didnt want to have the government takeing their land as part of a historical battle ground ., i agreed and we turned into a bayou and then a slew off the waterway . upon entering , the air became cold and electric . as i sat there it was like there were people watching just out side of my periferal vision .i said that the place creeped me out and the smiled and told me the story of the place. durring the siege of vicksburg ms a group of confederate soldiers slipped through the lines and headed home . after being chased for days on end , they were cornered in this slew and had cannons losded with grape shot turned on them .many men lost their lives within seconds . after that i was a believer . As far as i know , all these stories are bs . the story about the two brothers are also bs . i have worked law enforcement in louisiana and know that there would be records of the arrest and execution in the records and yes it is accessable online as it is public record. if it was entertaining , then cool but take it as that and realize that these stories are typical n.o . ,they invented the hustle i dont care what new york says

We discuss a lot of folklore, local and Eastern European. As far as the convent/first women in NOLA: The Urseline Nuns were here first in 1727, the prostitutes came next, and then it was the attempt to bring over the young farmers daughters that became known as the casket girls in 1728.And yes the two victims in 1978 were FEMALE, and the murder was never investigated because it was written off as a cult killing.

me personaly, i think that if vampires are real, one of them would have tried to rule the world by now. i live in mobile al, and have been to new orleans a few time and ill admit it's creepy. but it's only creepy cuz of the gays, not vamps. nowadays if vamps did live in new orleans there would be a bunch of gay french vamps runnin around. and that would be....awful.

Had the tour last yr around this time, took both the ghost tour and the vamp tour, loved them both. Had Adam as a guide he was great. After the tour we bought him some drinks and he kept telling us tales of the quarter. We then went out all night drinking with him leading the way to all the seedy locals only bars, it was a great night and well worth the money for the tour, dosent matter if the stories and lore of the area are true it is entertaining and thats what people pay for. If you like being entertained then you have to take these tours.....

Vampires could totally be real because vampires are evil, and Satan could have made these monsters. I do believe, and there is an actual mystery. No offense to the people who called this BS but he was giving his honest opinion of what they told him, and the story was probably twisted alot throughout times. Vampires are a mystery, but they are being ruined. There's a line to being a vampire and a phychopath. Some people want to believe they are a vampire and kill and drink blood. Why would a vampire tell the public they were a vampire? Vampires would just be putting there names in death's list with all the vampire hunts ands stuff.

We just took this tour 2 days ago. Jonathan was our guide. We loved it! Whether you believe the stories or not he does an excellent job of keeping you listening. My 10 year old was scared but Jonathan was great at answering questions and he didn't seem to be bothered by it. It's important to remember before complaining that the fact you are on this site talking about vampires means he did his job well because the stories stayed with you. I loved visiting the city and highly recommend taking the tour!

Properly, I had the pleasure of being hosted (both my Husband and I) by Jonathan Weiss. Having been a cyber-friend of Kalila's (owner of the HauntedHistory group), I had to pleasure to getting to meet her and feel energy. However, I've brought something back after Lafittes pit-stop. I haven't been able to shake it off but thankfully am of 4th generation Curandera/Bruja derived from my Paternal Grandparents. I've become lore'd into the '78 cult case in front of the St. Marys Assumption Church (next to the Old Ursaline Convent). Nothing on it, no notes, no mention - I know in those times things were "written off", but policy and procedure has to have some document elsewhere. Considering it was on "holy grounds", I'm sure there is something somewhere. Out of all the tour, this was the one that peaked my interest most, as was the Jacque St. Germaine story. Rue Royal and Ursaline st.? Which of the 4 corner houses is it? No sign, no address online, nothing. Also - as of recent the Lalaurie mansion was found to have a construction crew inside, as well as a set of cameras, and other audio and visual equipment in the last 2 hours. I mainly want to pick the brains of the tour guides, and anyone with evidence and history, documented. Help? Aid? ...Anything?

The part about Felipe in the Carter Brothers story is bogus. The guy did exist as a murderer, but not from here.
It was this year doing the last Mardi Gras Weekend in 2011, that I caught a LA Swift bus to go to New Orleans on a Friday night. I barely found a hotel, some Creole hotel on Rampart Street. I left out on foot to see the sights of Mardi Gras in the French Quarter, and it was around Midnight when I decided to do this. I also took the back streets, somewhere by Decataur and Philip. My direction was like going to the French Market, but I never made it to that area. As I doing down the street, I saw to men coming towards me, the two looked to be caucasian in appearance, and they wore casual suits. The two seemed like they had just awaken and the one I ran into by mistake, screamed, "Get the Hell out of my way!". There faces looked odd, like from some

Don't understand why folks fear the unknown, All things were made by God, some have gone extinct and some have learned to fit in the lifestyle of the 2000's or up to date (sort of to speak), whichever vampire's may be or have been, a person's faith can see them thru any type of darkness as God controls All day or night, Myans, Tazmain Devil, Dinosaur's & DoDo Birds are extinct but that doesn't mean they did not exist or in someplace upon this globe still exist to this day, I feel the Vampire Race existed & still may as well to this day this doesn't mean they are Goth or someone Evil just because they are of the night...
Thank for sharing I too was on this tour but it was back in 2004. My pictures of the convent couldn't be developed (the whole roll was lost rid aid said). Well i've been searching on the internet for some pictures or information but I couldn't remember enough from the tour. So thank for the info.

Please don't be suckered by this hype. This is not to say that vampires, in one form or another, do not exist. But I have researched this topic extensively and could find nothing in police reports, hospital records, notarial records, or any other archives that would support the tour's contentions.

Thank you. I went to this tour a few nights ago. I couldn't hear certain portions. Jonathon was my guide. He said the 2 people killed at the convent were young girls though. It definitely makes me wonder how much of this is BS since it should be definite if they were male or female.
